What is wellness coaching?
Wellness coaching is a client centered approach, where a certified wellness coach empowers clients to achieve measurable goals related to health and wellness. As your coach, I’m here to listen to your story, learn about where you feel stuck, and help you process through how you can make lasting changes for your own health and wellness benefits. I’m committed to supporting you as we establish your vision for a healthy you AND a plan of action!
All that fancy professional talk means this journey is about YOU. I’m here to be your friend, coach, and ally in a journey of health. I will help you set measurable goals and help you hold yourself accountable to those goals. For some ladies, the plan will include meal ideas each week, for others it might be helping you brainstorm workout options, creating workout plans, or working together to figure out how even with a desk job you can incorporate movement into your day.
Do I have to live in Kansas City to work with you?
No! I live in Kansas City, but I do coaching sessions over the phone or over Skype as well!
Where do we meet?
We can meet anywhere! I love quaint coffee shops and cafes with great atmospheres! I have a number of favorite spots around Kansas City, but the important thing is finding a comfortable place where we can get to know each other and start you on your best plan to real health.
How much do you charge?
Our initial meeting is always free. I believe in meeting people, hearing their story, and deciding together if being in a client/coaching relationship will benefit the client. See this page for pricing information.
What do working with you look like?
I get the chance to sit down with you and hear your story. It looks like you helping me to understand your strengths, areas of struggles, and your dreams. Then we work as a team to make a plan of action. You will leave our time with measurable goals that I will support you in attainting. For some women, we will create goals around healthy eating for others we will create exercise goals. Together we will get you started on your journey to real health.
What will I take away from our sessions?
Every client will take away a plan with measurable goals! The plan will be different based on each clients needs. Many clients will take away meal plans, workout plans, informative handouts, for some we will spend time at a grocery store learning how to read labels, for others it might be helping you find a gym that fits your schedule and budget. All of these practicals lead to the greatest take away, a healthier you!

Our family had a blast working with Allison. The kids loved her and we spent most of the shoot in and out of great conversation. Allison is great listener and a hard worker. She is professional and was on top of the details our shoot. The best thing about working with Allison is getting great professional photos and spending time with her. She was a blessing to our family.
